Episode 1: The Fangs Know It
Good way to start the series. The episode begins with a girl laying dead in the middle of a street. A boy (Machiyama) runs up to her and notices the marks on her neck. He looks up and sees in young girl in a kimono walking away. The next day at school, everyone is talking about the death and a new student is introduced. Machiyama looks at Miyu and recognizes her as the girl he saw the night before. Later in the day, the students are taking a test and as the teacher is walking around the class, she stops at the desk of a female student and takes a note away from her. In the library, Miyu is looking through an old yearbook and recognizes the teacher as a former student. Machiyama sits down next to her and has a stack of vampire books. He tells Miyu he saw her the night before. That evening, the teacher comes home and apolgizes to her pet chameleon for being late. She sits down on the bed and looks at the note. It says "Yohko died and that's a relief to you isn't it? Teacher Maiko."

Episode 2: Next Station
This episode was not aired. Late in the evening, on the empty subway, a woman has fallen asleep. When she wakes up, she is leaning her head on a man. She apologizes for falling asleep on him. They begin to talk. In a station, a guard is cleaning up when he hears the cries of a women. "Not again, I can't take much more of this," he says. The next day, Miyu and her new group of friends (she has friends, can you believe this?) are riding the subway. They talk about how women have been disappearing from the subway and how they're cries can be heard in the tunnels. Out on the street, they see a man buying expensive women's clothing. Miyu is suspicious of him. That night she rides the subway alone and is approced by the man. He leads her out of the train and shows her his collection of "mannequins".

Episode 3: The Forest Calls
So far, my favorite. Miyu is approched by three girls (Chisato, Yukari, and Hisae) at school. They introduce themselves and invite Miyu to come to town with them. Miyu is a bit confused as to why they asked her, but she goes along. While in town, Chisato buys Miyu and herself a keychain, they are told by the salesman that it stands for long lasting friendship. Later that night, a young man is having a nightmare. He is being pursued by a man in a mask. The young man is stabbed with a spear and wakes up screaming. The next day at school, Yukari is talking with another girl when the rest of the group joins her. The girl is telling Yukari that her brother has been acting strangely ever since a mask was brought into the house. The girl invites the group over to have a look. At the house, Miyu looks at mask on the wall and senses Shinma. Miyu tells Larva about the mask. Larva recalls the mask. He tells Miyu of a time centuries ago when he was scouting the lands for his fellow Shinma. His ship was attacked by a warrior in a mask. Larva had defeated the warrior that time, but his men had all either died or gone insane. (Captain Larva, now that's cute. You should see the outfit!)
