6-27-98 DON SIMPSON

This Hollywood producer of action films was known for his addictive, self-destructive behavior. He died of a heart attack that was reportedly related to a drug-overdose. He was known to frequent prostitutes and to engage in kinky, violent, abusive sex. He loved to live "on the edge" at all times and places.

His star-configurations, when seen through the principles of spiritual science, are very instructive:

1. A Tantric spiritual nature (a spiritual outlaw).

2. A Martian relating style (love of risk and adventure).

3. A weak physical nature governed by the Sun signifying a person who acts as a petty dictator (abusive) in relation to his own physical health and security.

4. Weak mental health resulting in lack of discrimination about how to engage in stress-management.

5. An extremely weak caste nature (moral and ethical development) due to the planet governing this field of living losing a planetary war.

Note that the Sun also governs the heart and that this brings about the likelihood of death from a heart attack.

In reference to the question of a planetary war, it should be noted that some Vedic astrologers erroneously conclude that for a planetary war to exist, both planets must share the same degree, i.e. Mars at 12D.20M Cancer and Mercury at 12D50M Cancer. In actuality, it is merely necessary that the two planets be within one degree of one another and not share the same degree, i.e. Mars as 11D50M Cancer and Mercury at 12D30M Cancer.
