3-28-98 RONALD REAGAN AND THE DISEASE OF DRYNESS

The American people felt great sadness when their beloved former leader was stricken with Alsheimer's disease. Those of you who have read my book, "Ayurveda Revolutionized: Integrating Ancient and Modern Ayurveda", will understand that each individual has one of eight possible disease tendencies, and that if this tendency is not effectively managed, the person may suffer dire consequences.

Ronald Reagan's health was governed by a weak Saturn. Saturn, in turn, signifies the disease of dryness, which includes Alsheimer's disease as one of its symptoms, especially when Saturn is in a sign (or any key subdivision of a sign) related to the head and is also the temporal ruler in later life. Generally speaking, even a weak Saturn does not bring poor health until old age, although I am certain that, throughout his life, Reagan must have felt some of the muscular tensions which Saturn brings, and that he used his free time in hard, outdoor physical labor to combat this tendency.

If Reagan had been fully aware of his Saturnine disease tendency and all of its potential consequences,, he could have done much to prevent it. However, our present medical system no longer respects the statement of Hippocrates that "no one can call himself a physician who does not know the science of the stars", and for good reasons: astrologers no longer know the real basis of medical or other fields of astrology. Thus, former president Reagan is a victim of a fundamental ignorance which only The Art of Multi-Dimensional Living (TM) is presently in the process of remedying.

The road is a difficult one, however, because people do not want to let go of their pet astrological misconceptions, whether they are skeptics or true-believers.
