3rd Day-
Jerusalem. Tour starts with the Israeli Parliment-Knesset,drive through the new city passing the President's residence. Stop at the Museum of Islamic Art and continue to "Yad-Vashem" the unforgetable memorial of the Holocaust.
4th Day-
Masada/Dead Sea/Jericho. We first stop at the Inn of the Good Samaritan before continuing on to Masada. Driving along the Dead Sea coast we arrive at Jericho the lowest and oldest city in the world. Overnight in Jerusalem.
5TH Day-
Jerusalem/Mount Zion/Bethlehem. Old City of Jerasalem, The Garden of Gethsemane,the Zion Gate and the Old City . A visit to the Western Wall, the Temple Mount (mosque excluded), through Via Dolorosa (The Way of the Cross) to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Jaffa Gate. Afternoon visit Mt. Zion including the Tomb of King David,the Cenacle (room of the Last Supper) and the Dormition Abbey. We will continue on to Bethlehem seeing the Church of the Nativity and Rachel's Tomb.
6th Day- At Leisure.
7th Day-
Nazareth/Tiberias/Capernaum. Morning drive to Nazareth to visit the Church of the Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph. On to Tiberias for a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee to visit the ruins of Capernaum.Overnight in Kibbutz.
8th Day-
Acre/Haifa. Drive to Acre to visit the Crusader underground city and Crypt. A walking tour through the old city to see the Oriental Market, the Arab Mosque and the old port. Continue to Haifa before returning to your hotel in Tel Aviv.
9th Day- Departure. Transfer from your hotel to the airport for your departing flight.The sequence of itinerary as given is subject to change depending upon arrival date and Nile cruises embarkation dates when included. There will be no omissions in sites visited . |
